I was in Moulana’s RA hazrat aaliya, when He TUS was shown an X-ray of a Mumin Bhai.

I remember Moulana RA pointing at the X-ray in two or three areas and saying “yahaan block chhey, yahaan block chhey” and then pronouncing his Dua Mubarak.

The patient went in for a repeat X-ray and something unbelievable transpired.

There were no blockages! They had simply disappeared.

A touch did what the medical science couldn’t.

Kaafi Hai Tera Naam Hifazat Ke Waste, Kuch Humko Ehtiyaaj Silaaho Salab Nahin

During the Gujarat riots of 2002, a large number of Muslims were affected. The 45-odd Mumineen in Raigarh migrated to the adjacent town as that was the only thing they could do, convinced that nothing would be left of their properties by the time they get back.

After a week when it was time to return, most of us wounded our way back with the lingering fear that “sagluj khatam thai gayu hase, hawey saglu paachu shuru karwanu che, moula aap madad karjo!” 

So when I lifted the shutters of my shop, expecting to see nothing there, I received a shock. Everything was intact. Even the pens were in the pen stand.

Every other shop in the vicinity had been looted or razed.

This was shockingly awkward; while most were clearing the debris out, we were running our business as if nothing had happened. I was sure it was no one else but Moulana Mohammad Burhanudddin RA.

Suddenly a man appeared; he was the principal rioter. He stood in front of the shop and motioned to a picture of Burhanuddin Moula RA on our shop wall. “Yeh kaun hai?” he asked. “Hamarey moulana hai, guruji hai. Kyun?” I reacted.

He replied, “Hum log aaye the tumhari dukaan par sab kuch khatam karne ke iraade se. Jub shutter uthaaya to ye saamne khade the (pointing towards Moulana RA). Ek haath mein tasbeeh thi aur ek haath mein talwaar. Dekh kar kisi ki himmat nahi hui ke unke saamne jaaye.”

Burhanuddin Moula RA once stated; “hussain na dino ma tame tamaro wepar aney karobar bund kari ne awso, to su hussain tamne nahi nawaze? mamlook’o aale mohammad, mohammed burhanuddin kahu chu, zamaanat lai ne kahun chun, ke rozi ni fikar na karjo, jholi phelawi ne tamara haqq ma dua karu chu”

When Moula assures he is responsible, he means it.

Is it justifiable to still consider attending Ashara Mubarakah? Is there anyone who can offer you such insurance?

The only befitting answer is; Labbaik Ya Daillah.

Misle Hatim Jo Sakhawat Mein Tumhe Kehte Hain, Qalib’e Madh Mein Wallah Wo Zum Karte Hain

I was in the tenth year of my marriage, and was yet to experience that happiness of a child.

During all those years, me and my wife underwent many treatments and consulted many different doctors, but nothing was fruitful.

We did several Arzi’s in Hazrat Imamiyah for Dua and kept praying. Years passed and our sadness kept increasing.

At one point we started wondering: Are we so sinful? Is anyone listening to our prayers? Can’t Moula change our fortune?

In the tenth year of my marriage, my wife had a dream.

Burhanuddin Moula RA was presiding in Taheri Masjid, Karachi. My wife was waiting on the staircase for Moula’s didaar. The moment Burhanuddin Moula RA descended down the stairs, my wife skipped out of the crowd, fell down on Moula’s RA qadam mubarak, held them firmly and cried out loud; “Moula aaje aapne mane farzand apwuj parse, hawe ghana waras thai gaya, mein aapna qadam nahi muku jewar lag aap mane farzand nai apo”. A few khidmat guzars tried to move her but Burhanuddin Moula RA directed them to let her do araz. Moula RA waited as my wife cried and kept repeating; “moula aap mane farzand aapo”.

Burhanuddin Moula RA smiled, placed his haath mubarak on my wifes shoulders and stated; “mein farzand apu chu“. The dream ended.

The outcome was obvious, the same time next year, we were blessed with a baby girl.

We had to challenge our fate, and we exactly knew where to go.

Jang Mein Banta Hai Shamsheer Museebat Mein Sipar, Naam’e Naami Ye Tere Kya Kya Asar Karta Hai

We have heard and seen many people blessed with a new life with the dua mubarak of Huzureala RA. I am equivalent.

A few years ago I was taken hostage by terrorists and spirited away to different places in North Wazirstan. I was kept in solitary confinement for a period of four months in Afghanistan.

I kept track of days by counting, and of venues, by change of dialects.

I was convinced that it was over. I was only unsure of the time and place.

Burhanuddin Moula RA was admitted to Saifee Hospital when dua for my release was presented to Him RA, multiple times.

Some days later, while I was in captivity, I had a dream. Moula RA presented me with six khaaraks (dates).

I awoke convinced that the dream was a blessing, even though I was unsure of its import.

One of my interpretations was that I would remain in captivity for six months.

This is exactly what happened. I was freed after 6 months and 10 days.

Moula RA often stated; “koi tamaro baal bhi waan’ko nai kari sake.”

Moula’s mohabbat is a shield. And I have been under its protection. Literally.

Gar Kahein Inko Suleman’e Zaman To Hai Baja, Hukm Ye Apna Zamane Pe Rawa’n Rakhte Hain

The year 1436 brought the first Ashara of our beloved Mufaddal Maula TUS.

Amongst many I also had the desire to attend Ashara with Maula TUS.

Simultaneously I faced the problem of obtaining leave from my university as I was missing a very important session, that if I did not attend I would fail the year and will have to restart my course. I strived, but the university did not allow me to leave. After many meetings and discussions the management passed out a statement, that if I leave for Ashara Mubaraka I would then have to restart my course.

As I was very determined to make it to Surat, I came to the conclusion that there is only one way to find out whether I should stay or leave for India and that resulted in an araz into Hazrat Immamiyah Nooraniyah.

Maulana TUS graced me with his dua and raza mubarak to come to Surat and attend Ashara mubraka. I got my answer and I left immediately knowing that somehow everything will fall into place.

I attended Ashara Mubraka with all the satisfaction and content.

After Ashara Mubaraka when I returned back to Mumbai, I was blessed with the sharaf of performing the zyaarat of Burhannudin Maula RA the same day. After the zyaarat while I was returning back to my accommodation, I recalled all the barakat I had inherited and how regretful I would have been if I had stayed back.

Thereafter, when I reached my accommodation, I checked my emails, and witnessed something unexpected. My university had randomly sent me a message saying that they had rearranged all my classes and assignments and I will be able to continue the course from where I left off.

I was completely flabbergasted and speechless.

I knew at this moment that Imam Hussain AS and my Maula TUS had truly opened all my doors of Rozi in both Deen and Duniya.

I share this instance with all so that together we can say Labaik A Ya Dai Allah with our hearts and truly appreciate the importance of Ashara Mubaraka.

Karte Hain Shouq Shaamo Sahar Hoor Aur Malak, Humko Likhe Khuda Tere Khidmat Guzaar Mein

I was blessed with the opportunity of travelling for Hajj this year.

I had heard several stories of those who had been on Hajj and one detail was common; the struggle and strive to kiss Hajare Aswad.

After I reached Makkah, almost two weeks had passed and due to the on going hassle and continued wrangles near Hajare Aswad I still had not kissed it. Although I was acquiring the equal sawab by raising my hands toward it from a distance, the thirst of kissing it with my bare lips remained.

I continued going to Bailtullah with the desire but kept returning unsatisfied.

One night I was sitting parallel to Hajare Aswad and was looking at those who were being blessed with the sharaf.

My tears started to flow and I started the tasbeeh of Burhanuddin Moula RA and Mufaddal Moula TUS with the plead; “moula aap mari madad karo”.

My head was down, eyes were closed and I had just started the tasbeeh. Suddenly someone randomly approached me, took my hand and said; “chalo tamne Hajar Aswad chumawi dau”. I was shocked and couldn’t comprehend who the person was, and why only me amongst all the other Mumineen sitting there. With total confusion and panic I replied; “mari tasbeeh baaqi che”. The person directed me to complete the tasbeeh and waited.

After I was done with the tasbeeh, he took my hand, slipped me within the crowd, and placed me right in front of Hajare Aswad. I kissed it with ease and calmness, and he pulled me out of the crowd, waited for my acknowledgment and left. The process which I heard was of at least half an hour completed in 30 seconds.

That very moment, words of Mufaddal Moula TUS came to my mind; “bawaji sahib pase hazaro farishta che”.

Everyone had described kissing Hajare Aswad effort full and tough in their stories, mine is contrary; effortless and calm.

Hai Jaisa Iltefaat Tera Mumineen Par, Baap Aisa Multafit Nahi’n Maa Meherbaa’n Nahi’n

I am fortunate to have conducted dental khidmat of Burhanuddin Moula RA. Most of the time, I had to appear in his khidmat at the end of the day, after he had finished his day’s work.

One night in Matheran, as per my routine, I went to Moulana’s RA gurfa mubarakah from my hotel which was at a distance of a mile from Moulana’s RA residence and attended Him RA with Dr Moiz Bs beside Him RA.

Outside, the weather turned freezing cold while I was inadequately dressed in my standard kurta and saya.

After I finished, I asked for raza.

Moula RA got up and left for His RA room.

Just when I was leaving, I heard a voice and saw Burhanuddin Moula RA coming out from his room towards me. He RA had a shawl in his hand and said “sadiq, aaje bahar thandi wadhare che, aa shawl pehni ne jaje”.

For an instance, you might stop caring about yourself – but Moula doesn’t.

Mushkilein Jitni Hai Kiya Deen Ki Kya Dunya Ki, Samne Sehl Aur Asan Hai Kin Ke Inke

After the sudden demise of Burhanuddin Moula RA, like every mumin, we yearned to go to India as soon as possible, for Burhanuddin Moula’s RA zyarat and taziyat.

I had my visa but could not travel alone and my husband’s visa had just expired. Faize Hussaini was trying their best to get visas, but there was little hope for getting it before Burhanuddin Moula’s RA chehlum.

Days passed, and the thirstiness kept increasing. When a mumin faces hardships, he remember’s Moula. I wept, grieved and did the same.

In the meantime I had a dream. I saw Mufaddal Moula TUS and I presented taziyat to Him TUS. Moula TUS smiled, placed his haath mubarak on my hands and asked “su thayu” I replied “moula visa nathi” Aqa Moula TUS smiled and said “thai jase”.

The very next day my husband got the visa, and we traveled to Mumbai.

Ask Moula, and you are inevitably getting it.

Har Teer’e Bala Hota Hai Radd Naam Se Tere, Qsimat Se Mere Hath Lagi Hai Sipar Aisi

I live in Kuwait. About five years back I was driving home after work at a speed of 120 km on the first track on Ahmadi express highway. All of a sudden one of the tires burst and I lost control of the car. I tried to apply brakes. As a result the car started moving zigzag on the road. To avoid hitting other cars I turned the steering wheel towards the roadside. I was able to turn the car but couldn’t stop it. At the end of the roadside, there was a slope, and to my distress, the car started going down on the slope. I sensed it could topple over due to the high speed. At that crucial moment, unbelievably, my car stopped with a jerk. Without wasting anytime I removed my safety belt and jolted out of the car.

A series of very obvious question arise here;

1. How did a fast moving car stop on a slope? 

After recovering my senses I moved around the car to inspect what made it stop. I noticed a big patch on the ground firmly gripping one front tire.  car 04Obviously that was the reason of the car stopping on the slope. Had there been no patch on the ground, my car would surely have turned over or hit the railing very badly.

Alhamdolillah, I am grateful for 3 things:

1) A severe accident was averted.

2) I was not hurt. Not even a scratchcar 01

3) There was no damage to the car. The car was towed to the tire shop to replace two rear tires, and I drove home safely.

2. What did I do when the tire burst?

My immediate reaction was to remember Burhanuddin Moula RA. I just kept on murmuring MOULA MOULA. We all know many times Moula RA said in his bayan mubarak; ’Koi bhi mushkil hoe to mane yaad karjo. Jo main na aawu to mai tamaro moula nathi’. I am sure it was our beloved Aqua Moula TUS who heard my calls and pulled me out of this mushkil unscratched.

Mukhtaar Ka Mukhtaar Hai Allaam e Zamaa’n Hai, Allaam Bana De Jise Yak Lafz Parha De

A few years ago I was working on my Masters-group-project in London, UK. My group mates and I had spent a lot of time experimenting and developing a concept for a new form of personal communication interface. However, our proposal was rejected by our professors just a month before the project’s due date. We spent the following three days brainstorming for new ideas without success. We were scared; we feared failure.

Before I slept that night, I looked at a photograph of Burhanuddin Moula RA and Syedna Taher Saifuddin Aqa RA, wept, and asked for help. I had a vivid dream thereafter: I was on a beach, drawing on the sand with a stick.

That is all.

At first thought, this did not make sense. On second thought, it appeared that my entire project had been revealed through this simple vision. I created a fresh proposal that would use sand as a medium for a natural form of personal communication interface.

This concept turned into one of the most exciting interactive projects from our department. We won an international design competition in the area of interactive design.

I am convinced that the inspiration for this came from none other than Moula RA.
