Ae Taqi Ibn’e Taqi Ibn’e Taqi Ibn’e Taqi, Tohfa’tul Asr Ho Tum Zubda She’aron Ke Beech

Few weeks after Dubai Ashara Mubraka, I had a dream. These couple of minutes had already cemented my belief a long time ago.

To keep it short, in the dream, I saw Syedna Taher Saifuddin RA sitting on a “Gaadi“. I was surprised to see Syedna Taher Saifuddin Aqa RA, hastily, I took raza and performed qadambosi. Since Syedna Taher Saifuddin Aqa RA had kept immense nazaraat on my parents and grandparents, I tried to introduce myself. Maulana RA, with great ehsaan smiled at me and said “Maney khabar che tu kaun che”. He then asked me to meet him at some place which appeared to be a masjid or a hall.

After that, still in the dream, I was at the Dubai Daar ul Imaarat entrance from where Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin RA used to enter. He RA walked in, I took his raza mubarak for qadambosi, He RA stopped, smiled and granted raza, and I did qadambosi.

When I looked up, instead of Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin Aqa RA, I saw Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin TUS standing there smiling down at me.

I woke up immediately, not knowing what to do or what to think of it. Hence, I treasured it.

Today, when I recall the dream, I can evidently understand the connection; Syedna Taher Saifuddin RA asked me to meet him at some place, and I met Burhanuddin Moula RA instead. And when I asked Burhanuddin Moula RA for his qadambosi, I perceived Mufaddal Moula instead.

It is obvious what the dream meant.

Shaah Ke Qadmo Tale Se Wo Khazane Nikle, Jholi Le Le Ke Salateen Uthane Nikle

I was seven, and Burhanuddin Moula RA was residing in Karachi at that time.

At one instance, Shehzada Malik’ul Ashtar Bs DM took me into Moulana’s RA ghurfa mubaraka while Moula RA was already there.

I was standing inside the room, confused. I couldn’t apprehend what to do, and suddenly I saw Moulana RA looking at me and directing Shahzada Sahib DM to place me near His qadam mubarak.

I sat near Moulana’s RA qadam mubarak with my hands and legs shivering. Moulana RA kept looking at me for sometime and said “salam karo” – to which I replied with a trembling voice “moula salam karta nai awartu”.

Moulana RA reacted with a wide tabassum to my reply, and taught me how to present a salam.

And then, Moula RA blessed me with words which changed my life, as he proclaimed “tu jamea jase?” and repeated it a couple of times.

Being small, I wasn’t able to connect the episode; Moulas RA qadam mubarak, salam and then Jamea. Today, I recall this account, and associate it with Moulana Mufaddal’s TUS words; “Taher Saifuddin aqa farmawta, bhai Burhanuddin ne Lao jau, ehna qadmo na niche dowlat che”.

I am fortunate to have acquired that ‘dowlat’; Al Jamea Tus Saifiyah.

Haq Ta’ala Ne Kiya Hai Tujhe Aisa Fahhaam, Jo Tu Paata Hai Maqasid Ko Isharon Ke Beech

In 2001, Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin RA came to Chicago and my family received the sharaf of zyafat. I personally got the sharaf of presenting namak to Aqa Moula RA in the thaal.

I was only 8 years old at the time so I was very nervous and all that was going through my mind was to make sure that I kept my hands very still.

Meanwhile, my father was trying to take a picture of the moment. However, it all happened so fast that he was not able to capture the moment.

He, of course, didn’t say anything but Aqa Moula RA noticed and asked me to hold out the namak daani one more time.Namak

This time, Aqa Moula RA held out his mubarak hand for a few seconds so my father would have enough time to take a photograph.

While this moment was small, it was a true testament to how deeply Aqa Moula RA cared for mumineen. He RA did not require words to know what we wanted or what we were thinking. He RA was always connected with our hearts.

Howe Zandaan’e Museebat Mein Giriftaar Ad’u, Tere Sadqe Se Muhib Ranjo Mahan Se Nikle

When my four year old son Yusuf was in Mombasa during Ashara Mubaraka, he developed a fever that lasted for 30 days. Following Ashara Mubaraka, Mamlook e Syedna returned from Mombasa and also developed a fever.

Father and son were allotted in adjoining rooms in the hospital. My wife Samina spoke to Sheikh Khuzema bhai Sheikh Abidally and requested him to submit an araz to Moulana Muqaddas RA. The araz was submitted to Moulana RA while he was in a car in London, UK.

After listening to the araz, Moulana RA said; “Yusuf and Mohammed, beve ne shifa thaase!” The fever receded immediately for both. As always, the doctors were spellbound. They call it a miracle till date.

Tumhara Naam Chatt Karta Hai Dunya Ki Balao’n Ko, Asa’e Daste Moosa Ki Tarah Sab Ko Nigalta Hai

My father and I, after closing a property deal in Mombasa, were returning to Nairobi via train on a Saturday in 1992.  At the Mombasa Station we could only get bookings for a 2nd Class compartment and for the sake of comfort, my father urged me to speak to the Station Master and procure 1st Class Bookings which we got in a bogie that was added at the last minute, directly behind the engine.

Our journey started well and after having our dinner, we retired. In those days the first class compartments had two beds, one on top of the other. Owing to our hectic schedule in Mombasa it was not long before we were both fast asleep. Suddenly, the rhythmic noise of the train changed and we could hear the sound of gushing water. To our despair, even the lights had stopped working. It must have been between 2 and 3 a.m everything was pitch dark. At that time I asked my father if there was a river anywhere between Mombasa and Nairobi that the railway line crossed to, which he replied that there were only seasonal streams and no all-weather rivers of any sort in the area.

Slowly but steadily the water started entering our compartment and this confirmed our belief that something had gone tragically wrong with the train. In an effort to see what had actually happened and to try and escape, I desperately tried to force the compartment’s window open but to no avail. All we could hear was the thunderous sound of water gushing by.

As the water rose further, I asked my father to come onto the top bunk. The water rose further and further and in the deep darkness clutching my father’s hand, I silently prayed. I thought of my worst dread in life, to drown, which seemed to be the fate that I was going to face.

The water rose even further until there were only about four inches between the roof of the compartment. The level of the water did not stop rising. In a final appeal, I cried out to Imam Hussain AS and Burhanuddin Aqa TUS to save us. In that very instance the water stopped rising and began to slowly recede.

We were recused from the jaws of death. Literally.

It was several hours before we were able to get out of the train and reach safety.  When we emerged from the train, we noticed that we were in an area where maize was being grown and there was only one baobab tree in that vicinity against which our boggy had lodged onto, preventing it from being pulled away like the engine and the three bogies behind ours, causing the death of more than 350 lives. The train engine and four of the train cars had plunged into this area as the bridge for the railway line had collapsed in the floods. Only one fatality had occurred from our bogie, which was of a young man who had forced open the window of his compartment and drowned in the gushing force of the over-powering water.

Now, you may ask – How do I know Moula RA saved me?

I have proof.

The very next day, in the Shafahi Imtehaan in Surat, a Talabat from Arusha was asked directly by Aqa Moula RA to recount the incident of the train that had happened recently.  At that stage we had not even been able to send a fax, expressing Sajadatus Shukr in Hazrat Imamiyah when Moula RA asked this question!

Undoubtedly, only he, who had saved us, could have known of the incident.

We hear time and again, Moula TUS remind us, that when in trouble remember me and my “DUA” will hasten towards you.

And it never fails to do so.

Kaam Kar Jaati Hai Jo Teri Dua’e Sehri, Kaam Wo Zor Se Hota Hai Na Zar Karta Hai

One day before traveling for Hajj in 1431 Mamlook e Syedna TUS suddenly got a severe heart attack. As a diabetic patient I didn’t feel any pain in heart and only felt nausea and pain in lower part of the food canal, which I considered a pain of duodenal ulcer, as I was also an ulcer patient.

I was taken to a Kuwaiti Hospital and found out that I had a heart attack and I could not travel. I remained willful and traveled.

From Sharjah to Abu Dhabi I felt uneasy. I started reciting Ya Sayyed As Sohada’i and fell asleep. After a while, as my eyes opened, there was no pain or nausea.

In Makkah Mukarramah I was advised by Dr.Yusuf (Cardiologist in Khidmat) to get admitted on emergency basis, I was admitted for 3 days.

Meanwhile, I submitted an araz to Moula RA for Shifa through Amirul Haj Shahzada Abbas Bhaisaheb DM.

I received Dua Mubarak from Aqa Moula TUS and performed my Hajj without any problems and returned back to Sharjah.

I consulted the cardiologist, he carried out a stress test. After a short walk on the tread mill (1 minute 49 seconds), he stopped me immediately, and told me that my heart was so weak that if I would have continued for 3 more seconds I would have collapsed.

He was bewildered how did I managed to walk for hours during Hajj. My reports said it is impossible; he said. I knew who made it possible.

My doctor couldn’t find a medical explanation, and concluded my case as; a miracle.

Maah’o Sayyara Teri Zikr Barabar Kab Hai, Jo Hai Taseer Teri Kab Hai Sitaro Ke Beech

In 1434H, during the last days of Shaban, I felt unrest in my health. One day, just before Shehre Ramazan, suddenly I experienced difficulty in breathing. I was immediately taken to the nearest hospital and underwent a checkup.

I was told I had an asthma attack, and I knew what was next; complete bed rest.

Meanwhile, it was announced that Mufaddal Moula TUS will visit Karachi in the second week of Shehre Ramazan, and I did not want to miss the opportunity. I knew the only way was to pretend being all right, although I wasn’t, I was certain that staying back and not going will worsen my condition.

During Moulana’s TUS Safar Mubarak in Karachi, one day I felt severe pain in my heart. I restrained from complaining as I was allocated a Qadambosi pass for the same day. Bearing the discomfort and ignoring the consequences, I managed to reach the venue.

While I was in the queue, I started to sweat, and felt dizzy. I pressed myself further as I could already see Moulana TUS. Half-consciously, I did Qadambosi and could just pronounce; “Moula shifa” and was directed out of the queue.

I had just taken a few steps back when I heard a behnsaab calling “behn yahan awo moula bulawe che” I turned around and I saw Moulana TUS pointing towards me, and the next moment I was standing in front of Moula TUS again.

I was quiet, crying, and almost unconscious; I could only see Moulana TUS looking at me continuously. Moula TUS then directed me to stand beside his bethak, and after every few seconds, He TUS blessed me with his Mubarak nazar. I was confused, as well as all the ones who were present there, everyone was clueless of what was happening.

After a few minutes He TUS gave me raza and instructed; “Hamza AS ni zabeehat karjo”. The moment I came out, I almost fainted, and the next bit, I was being taken to the hospital.

When I came back to my senses, the doctor said; “your heart suffered two continuous attacks, of a degree one can hardly survive, and you didn’t know? Where were you?”.

Moula TUS instructed me to stand beside him for a precise time, I understood why.

I was somewhere, where nothing could hurt me; I told him.

Ae Maseeh’e Waqt Teri Phoonk Mein Hai Ye Asar, Garche Rota Aega Koi To Hasta Jaega

Ever since my mother was 13 years old, she’s been getting the sharaf of doing ziyafat decorations for Sayyedna Mohammad Burhanuddin RA.

In one of the ziyafats, she had to stick a chord bordering the screen on the backdrop using a glue gun. She started doing it and due to the hot glue, she got blisters all over her hand.

Shehzadi husaina bs was supervising the tazyeen. She saw my mother’s hand and told Dr. moiz bs to do araz in Moulana RA for shifa.

Just when maula RA was about to arrive Dr moiz bs took my mother with him and made her sit outside Moula’s RA gurfaah mubaraka. When maulana RA arrived Dr moiz bs did araz “maula ghana saalo si tazyeen ni khidmat kare che” Moula RA placed his hand on my mother’s hands and blessed her with his nazar Mubarak, and advanced.

When she returned after the zyafat, she checked her hands if they needed a treatment, and was stunned. The blisters vanished. No sign of them.

A nazar Mubarak and a touch cured what looked like a definite surgery.

Nigaah’e Lutf Ho Jis Shakhs Pe Teri Uske, Din Juda Phirte Hain Taqdeer Juda Phirti Hai

Something historic was going to happen. The 100th Milaad was just around the corner.

People all around the world were arranging for their pilgrimage towards Mumbai. Every heart had only one prayer, may I be a part of history?

I was one of them.

As being a Pakistani national, I was having trouble in getting the Indian visa. It looked beyond the bounds of possibilities that I would be able to attend Milaad.

Depressed, disheartened and upset, nothing was going right for me. I wept. I remembered Burhanuddin Moula RA as the only hope.

One night, I saw Moulana RA in my dream. I presented him the araz of what I was going through – to which Moulana RA replied : “mari 100mi milaad che – aney taney aawanu chey”.

The next day, I was granted the visa.
