Shaah Ke Qadmo Tale Se Wo Khazane Nikle, Jholi Le Le Ke Salateen Uthane Nikle

I was seven, and Burhanuddin Moula RA was residing in Karachi at that time.

At one instance, Shehzada Malik’ul Ashtar Bs DM took me into Moulana’s RA ghurfa mubaraka while Moula RA was already there.

I was standing inside the room, confused. I couldn’t apprehend what to do, and suddenly I saw Moulana RA looking at me and directing Shahzada Sahib DM to place me near His qadam mubarak.

I sat near Moulana’s RA qadam mubarak with my hands and legs shivering. Moulana RA kept looking at me for sometime and said “salam karo” – to which I replied with a trembling voice “moula salam karta nai awartu”.

Moulana RA reacted with a wide tabassum to my reply, and taught me how to present a salam.

And then, Moula RA blessed me with words which changed my life, as he proclaimed “tu jamea jase?” and repeated it a couple of times.

Being small, I wasn’t able to connect the episode; Moulas RA qadam mubarak, salam and then Jamea. Today, I recall this account, and associate it with Moulana Mufaddal’s TUS words; “Taher Saifuddin aqa farmawta, bhai Burhanuddin ne Lao jau, ehna qadmo na niche dowlat che”.

I am fortunate to have acquired that ‘dowlat’; Al Jamea Tus Saifiyah.
