Hai Shouq Dast Bosi Liye Humko Is Liye, Ankho’n Ko Apne Mujib’e Taskee’n Hai Push’t Dast

In 1433, I went Mumbai to attend imtehaan. I hadn’t done moula’s qadambosi for a heart aching period of last ten years. During imtehaan we found out that mumineen and talabat ul ilm from Pakistan were bestowed upon the sharaf of qadambosi.

Everyday we used to make it to the bethak, but due to the high number of zyafats we would be left out. Soon imtehaan concluded, and we were instructed to leave Mumbai.

I was shattered. It came to a point that we even got qadambosi stickers but could not reach Moula RA. Eventually, we had to leave for Surat. On the day of our departure, we heard all who stayed back got their qadambosi done.

My eyes would not stop tearing. I went to do Syedna Abdeali Saifuddin’s RA ziyarat and took his wasila mubarak. Without a second thought, I got on a local train and hurried to Mumbai. Upon reaching Saifee Mahal there were about a hundred mumineen in front of me. I had no hope. Suddenly, one khidmat guzar inquired if there were any talabat ul ilm. I raised my neck high and shouted out to his call. The next moment I was in Moula’s RA hazrat aaliya.

As I advanced toward Moulana RA for qadambosi, Dr. Moiz Bs recognised me. I was performing qadambosi, not knowing what more to expect, and Dr. Moiz Bs pronounced to Moulana RA; “Jamea na Talabat che”. Hearing that, Moulana RA smiled at me.

Deep down in my heart, I was longing to submit an araz to Moulana RA for my sister’s health. I went to Mufaddal Moula TUS, rephrased my araz in my mind and performed qadambosi. Although the only word that passed through my lips was; “Moula!”, Mufaddal Moula TUS replied; “Khuda farzand ne shifa apey.”

Ascend towards Him, and you are not going to return saddened.

Ae Taqi Ibn’e Taqi Ibn’e Taqi Ibn’e Taqi, Tohfa’tul Asr Ho Tum Zubda She’aron Ke Beech

Few weeks after Dubai Ashara Mubraka, I had a dream. These couple of minutes had already cemented my belief a long time ago.

To keep it short, in the dream, I saw Syedna Taher Saifuddin RA sitting on a “Gaadi“. I was surprised to see Syedna Taher Saifuddin Aqa RA, hastily, I took raza and performed qadambosi. Since Syedna Taher Saifuddin Aqa RA had kept immense nazaraat on my parents and grandparents, I tried to introduce myself. Maulana RA, with great ehsaan smiled at me and said “Maney khabar che tu kaun che”. He then asked me to meet him at some place which appeared to be a masjid or a hall.

After that, still in the dream, I was at the Dubai Daar ul Imaarat entrance from where Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin RA used to enter. He RA walked in, I took his raza mubarak for qadambosi, He RA stopped, smiled and granted raza, and I did qadambosi.

When I looked up, instead of Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin Aqa RA, I saw Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin TUS standing there smiling down at me.

I woke up immediately, not knowing what to do or what to think of it. Hence, I treasured it.

Today, when I recall the dream, I can evidently understand the connection; Syedna Taher Saifuddin RA asked me to meet him at some place, and I met Burhanuddin Moula RA instead. And when I asked Burhanuddin Moula RA for his qadambosi, I perceived Mufaddal Moula instead.

It is obvious what the dream meant.

Shaah Ke Qadmo Tale Se Wo Khazane Nikle, Jholi Le Le Ke Salateen Uthane Nikle

I was seven, and Burhanuddin Moula RA was residing in Karachi at that time.

At one instance, Shehzada Malik’ul Ashtar Bs DM took me into Moulana’s RA ghurfa mubaraka while Moula RA was already there.

I was standing inside the room, confused. I couldn’t apprehend what to do, and suddenly I saw Moulana RA looking at me and directing Shahzada Sahib DM to place me near His qadam mubarak.

I sat near Moulana’s RA qadam mubarak with my hands and legs shivering. Moulana RA kept looking at me for sometime and said “salam karo” – to which I replied with a trembling voice “moula salam karta nai awartu”.

Moulana RA reacted with a wide tabassum to my reply, and taught me how to present a salam.

And then, Moula RA blessed me with words which changed my life, as he proclaimed “tu jamea jase?” and repeated it a couple of times.

Being small, I wasn’t able to connect the episode; Moulas RA qadam mubarak, salam and then Jamea. Today, I recall this account, and associate it with Moulana Mufaddal’s TUS words; “Taher Saifuddin aqa farmawta, bhai Burhanuddin ne Lao jau, ehna qadmo na niche dowlat che”.

I am fortunate to have acquired that ‘dowlat’; Al Jamea Tus Saifiyah.

Maah’o Sayyara Teri Zikr Barabar Kab Hai, Jo Hai Taseer Teri Kab Hai Sitaro Ke Beech

In 1434H, during the last days of Shaban, I felt unrest in my health. One day, just before Shehre Ramazan, suddenly I experienced difficulty in breathing. I was immediately taken to the nearest hospital and underwent a checkup.

I was told I had an asthma attack, and I knew what was next; complete bed rest.

Meanwhile, it was announced that Mufaddal Moula TUS will visit Karachi in the second week of Shehre Ramazan, and I did not want to miss the opportunity. I knew the only way was to pretend being all right, although I wasn’t, I was certain that staying back and not going will worsen my condition.

During Moulana’s TUS Safar Mubarak in Karachi, one day I felt severe pain in my heart. I restrained from complaining as I was allocated a Qadambosi pass for the same day. Bearing the discomfort and ignoring the consequences, I managed to reach the venue.

While I was in the queue, I started to sweat, and felt dizzy. I pressed myself further as I could already see Moulana TUS. Half-consciously, I did Qadambosi and could just pronounce; “Moula shifa” and was directed out of the queue.

I had just taken a few steps back when I heard a behnsaab calling “behn yahan awo moula bulawe che” I turned around and I saw Moulana TUS pointing towards me, and the next moment I was standing in front of Moula TUS again.

I was quiet, crying, and almost unconscious; I could only see Moulana TUS looking at me continuously. Moula TUS then directed me to stand beside his bethak, and after every few seconds, He TUS blessed me with his Mubarak nazar. I was confused, as well as all the ones who were present there, everyone was clueless of what was happening.

After a few minutes He TUS gave me raza and instructed; “Hamza AS ni zabeehat karjo”. The moment I came out, I almost fainted, and the next bit, I was being taken to the hospital.

When I came back to my senses, the doctor said; “your heart suffered two continuous attacks, of a degree one can hardly survive, and you didn’t know? Where were you?”.

Moula TUS instructed me to stand beside him for a precise time, I understood why.

I was somewhere, where nothing could hurt me; I told him.

Uthae Haath Jo Behre Dua To, Asar Khud Dorta Ae Dua tak

I suffered from a disease as a result of which both my legs began to virtually fester, so much that even if my pajama touched my leg, it would bleed. It was so embarrassing that I lost the confidence to go out in public. I lost every last bit of hope when doctors I had visited informed me that they were unable to diagnose the disease.

One day upon a friend’s counsel, I visited a hakeem who said that there was a way to reduce the pain and gave me a syrup stating “Har roz raat ko sone se pehle ek-do ghoont peena parega”. It was alcohol.

I returned home weeping.

That night, I sat in front of Moulana Muqaddas’ Moulana Taher Saifuddin’s RA photograph in my hall and started to cry: “Moulana sagla tabeeb haar mani gaya chhey. Aap tabeeb-e-roohani chho! Aap kai amal farmaawo! Aap shifa inaayat farmaawo!”

With tears in my eyes I fell asleep.

In a dream-state I perceived that I was performing Moula Muqaddas’ RA qadambosi wherein I showed my legs to him and asked for shifa. I still remember Moulana’s RA voice stating: “Bhai Burhanuddin paase gaya ke nahi?” I shook my head. Moula RA guided: “Bhai Burhanuddin paase jaao! Still in the dream, I saw Moulana Burhanuddin RA sitting next to Moulana Muqaddas RA and so I went to Burhanuddin Moula RA, repeated the araz, showed him my legs and Burhanuddin Moula RA, with a beaming tabassum, said “khuda shifa aape”.

I woke up with my legs allowing to me walk for the first time in a long while. In a short time thereafter, the disease simply disappeared.

I am walking fit and fine into my late-eighties, and I have not even experienced a minor pain in my legs since that dream.

Aapka Chehra Hum Dekhte The, Aapka Haath Hum Choomtey The, Sar Qadam Mei Tumharey Jhukaa kar, Saare Ranj o Alam Bhoolte the, Aaj Turbat Mei Jalwa Numa Ho, Kaise Bhoolain Burhan ul Huda Ko.

During the 75th Milaad Mubarak of Burhanuddin Moula RA, I was in the queue for qadambosi in Adam Masjid (Karachi). When my turn came, I performed the qadambosi and just at that instant a Mumin bhai submitted an araz, Maula RA attended to him, I was not given a tashreef and was promptly removed from the queue.

As I turned, my first thought was: why did Maula RA not give me the tashreef? Had I sinned?

I must have been some few steps away when I heard Aqa Moula’s voice: “Aa tari tashreef to le” and He RA, passed a ‘rumaal’ towards me.

Being young, I didn’t think much, except that I was happy to recieve the tashreef.

Being older, I now realize that how my Maula RA always kept a watchful eye on every mumin.

Wherever. However.
