In the year 1965, soon after the grievous demise of Moulana Taher Saifuddin RA, my father Mulla Rasoolbhai Madarwala had gone to Burhanuddin Moula’s RA hazrat, to seek raza for my brother’s nikah.

While he performed qadambosi, Moulana RA pronounced; “maula ne ghare nai bulaave?”. My father replied, “moula maaru ghar ghanu naanu chhey.” Hearing this, Aqa Maula RA repeated, “maula ne ghare nai bulaave?”

Totally flabbergasted, I sat there with tears flowing, unable to respond.

Thereafter, the late Miyasaheb Shaikh Ebrahim Saab Yamani said with an urgency, “ghare jau, zyafat ni tayyari karo, moula padhare che”.

Wherefore my father received the sharaf of Burhanuddin Moula’s RA first zyafat (according to Miyasaheb Shaikh Ebrahim Saab Yamani) – after the wafaat of Syedna Taher Saifuddin RA, in our humble 10 feet x 17 feet room in Modi Street – Mumbai.

In all the years my father lived, every time he recalled the occurrence, he tearfully concluded it uttering; “mohabbat was all I had”.
