A mumin nowadays pleads to recite his prayers behind Moula. A few amongst the hundreds are blessed with the opportunity.
I was graced with something exceptional and uncommon.
Syedna Taher Saifuddin Aqa RA was leading the namaz at Adam Masjid, Karachi. I was late, but fortunately managed to merge into the last row almost outside the masjid. Moulana Mohammed Burhanuddin RA was being awaited.
Namaz commenced.
A car stopped behind me. I could feel a flurry entity behind me but could not look as the imamat had started. Suddenly someone whispered “Bhai”, nudged me aside, stepped on my masalla and humbly joined the prayers.
I assumed that it was a sahib from the Qasr e Aali on account of the potent scent of the attar.
The anxiety to know who it was, was hard to control.
After the salam, I looked over my shoulder and was electrified and left bound struck by the overwhelming sight of Moulana Mohamed Burhanuddin RA on the very masalla I was sitting on.
The next moment, Moulana RA had swiftly entered the Masjid, showing one of his infinite qualities.
I sat there bewildered.
I have still kept that masalla and consider it as a treasure of my life in this world, and the life hereafter.
